Information You Provide
The Foundation may collect and use your personally identifiable information (such as, but not limited to, first and last names, home addresses, email addresses, phone numbers) for donor administration, to deliver donor benefits (e.g., our communications), to invite you to Foundation events or to inform you of other Foundation opportunities.
Except for third parties explicitly mentioned herein, the Foundation does not sell, rent, or otherwise share or disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties without your consent. If you do not wish for your name to appear on the Foundation’s donor roll, please indicate that you opt out when making a donation.
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. We are committed to complying fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998.
Information We Collect Automatically as You Access and Use the Site
We and our third-party service providers may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect certain information about your use of the Site. We may use this information for a variety of purposes, including analyzing general traffic patterns or enhancing or otherwise improving the Site and our services. The usage information we collect is generally non-identifying, but if we associate it with you as a specific and identifiable person, we will treat it as personally identifiable information. Usage information may include, the browser and operating system, the URL, the search terms you entered into a search engine that led you to our Site, the areas within our Site that you visit, and the time of day you visit the Site. Usage information may also include IP addresses, mobile device identifiers, or other unique identifiers for any computer, mobile phone, or other device used to access the Site.
How We Secure and Share Your Information
The Foundation respects and honors the confidentiality of your information and uses commercially reasonable security methods and technologies to secure your personally identifiable information. However, no system is 100% secure. We therefore cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us, or that we transmit to you, or guarantee that it will be free from unauthorized access by third parties.
Restrictions on Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We generally do not reveal personally identifiable information about you to third parties for their independent use unless 1) you request or authorize disclosure; 2) in connection with a Foundation event or conference; 3) the information is provided to comply with a legal request or law enforcement investigation; 4) to protect the integrity of the Site; 5) to protect and defend the legal rights or property of the Foundation; or 6) in an emergency, to protect the health and safety of our users or the general public. The Foundation may engage with third parties to perform a variety of functions, such as assisting with donation collection or providing technical services for our Internet site. Such companies may have access to personally identifiable information if needed to perform certain functions. However, these companies may use such personally identifiable information only for the purpose of performing that function and may not use it for any other purpose.
Network for Good®
CropLife Foundation does not directly store or have access to credit card information submitted online. We have contracted with Network for Good®, to collect donor credit card payment information and to store associated payment data. Please review Network for Good’s terms and conditions for further information. By making a donation, you consent to sharing your payment information with Network for Good®.
Sweepstakes, Contests, & Promotions
The Foundation may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (collectively, Promotions) that may require registration. By participating in a Promotion, you are agreeing to the provisions, conditions, and official rules that govern it. Personally identifiable information may be disclosed to third parties or the public in connection with the administration of such Promotion, including but not limited to, winner selection, prize fulfillment, and as required by law or permitted by the terms or official rules.
You have the ability to interact with the Foundation through social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, and others. While this Policy applies to the Foundation’s social media pages, you should be aware that any information you provide through social media may be publically displayed. Additionally, the Foundation and third party social media companies may gain access to certain information about you, including your name and email address. If you choose to “like,” “hashtag,” or otherwise share information from the Foundation Site through social media services, you should review the social media services’ respective privacy policies to learn how these social media services collect, store, and share your information.

Users Residing Outside the United States and Consent to Transfer
The Foundation and its website are operated in the United States. If you are located in another jurisdiction, please be aware that information that you provide to us will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Site or providing us with any information, you consent to this transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States, a jurisdiction in which the privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country where you reside or are a citizen.
